Chickasaw Country Club is a premier private golf and athletic club hosting private or member sponsored events and parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings and golf tournaments in the Mid-Town Memphis area.
The Club House Manager position is responsible for the management of front of the house responsibilities including supervision of a la carte, banquets, etc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years management experience in a fine dining country club establishment along with strong supervisory skills, scheduling and customer service. Must be able to work flexible hours and have experience with a Point-of-Sales system. Jonas experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinates the day to day F&B operations of the club.
• Responsible for hiring, supervising and training staff
• Employee work schedules
• Scheduling of F&B and Housekeeping staff, monitors performance, evaluates staff performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Must have a passion for great food, wine and service
• Cost control
• Purchasing and Inventory
• Assists Catering Director and Executive Chef in coordinating and executing Member events.
• Focuses on growing revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the F&B Department according to annual and monthly budget goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Outstanding team building skills
• F&B Management background with a minimum of 5 years country club experience.
• Consistently positive, social and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, organization and task-prioritization skills.
• Problem solver with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks by priority.
